Review: This multi-generational romantic comedy is a great movie with twists and ties that join together in an unexpected turn of events in the last three quarters of the movie. After 25 years of marriage Steve Carrell and Julianne Moore split because she slept with Kevin Bacon. For the youngsters in the theatre Ryan Gosling and his six pack helps Carrell enter the art of picking up women in a bar, after Gosling finds his one true love Emma Stone. And of course there is a teenage romance in the story line with Carrell and Moore's son crushing on the babysitter, who ironically likes the Dad. As the story line moves along some blandness does occur but as everything starts to come back together and tension rises the end is as satisfying as chocolate.
